Tamra Larter allowed the birth of her second child to be filmed as part of a documentary titled "Orgasmic Birth." (Tamra Larter from ABCNews.com)
I admit, when my husband sent the link to this 20/20 segment as a possible blog topic, it was difficult for me to watch the video, let alone consider writing about it. But by the end of it, I realized the women were simply asking each of us to re-think our perspective on childbirth. I’m all about that. And, I’m living proof that when you minimize fear, you minimize pain. Watch for yourself and let me know what you think. Were you lucky enough to have such an exhilarating childbirth experience?
What a gem! This may be a great gift idea for Grandma’s or for your older children’s Easter baskets! One good thing - you don’t have to worry about the smell of those “un-found” eggs in a few weeks!

Just in case you might not have seen or heard about Salma Hayek’s very public display where she nursed a child in Sierra Leone, here is the video. Way to go Salma!
Kudos to M.I.A at the Grammy’s last night! She performed on her due date - Feb 8, with T.I., Jay-Z, Lil’ Wayne, and Kanye West. She gets my vote for Best Dressed Belly!

Well, it appears that the mother of the brand new 8 babies is a SINGLE mom who lives with her mother, and she already has 6 other kids at home. Now totaling 14 babies - we can skip Jon & Kate Plus 8 - she is making her way towards competing with The Duggar Family!
According to an article (see link below to read the full story), the grandmother is claiming that her daughter is obsessed with having babies. At 33-years-old, she has a Bachelor’s degree and is currently working on a Master’s degree. She also doesn’t appear to be receiving any public assistance. So, how does she do it? Also, it seems as if she was paid for the fertility treatment…I am intrigued by this situation. Ethical questions are also being tossed around with her situation. How in-depth should the screening process be for the use of fertility treatment? What are your thoughts?
A Californian couple yesterday gave birth to eight babies! WOW! Our hats off to them! It took 46 doctors, nurses and assistants to deliver all eight babies in 5 minutes! They are the second live octuplets born in U.S history.
Watch out Jon & Kate Plus Eight - there’s another family on the rise!

“The mother, who was not identified, gave birth Monday to the six boys and two girls weighing between 1 pound, 8 ounces, and 3 pounds, 4 ounces. The eighth baby was a surprise to the parents and doctors who had been expecting only seven children.” (USA TODAY) read more
