The First Trimester. Weeks 1-13

Congratulations! You’re going to have your very own Baby in Kentuckiana! Whether you’ve been planning your baby’s conception for months or were taken by complete surprise, you probably have a ton of questions at this point. The first trimester begins with that tell-tale pink line on the pregnancy test and ends with the first sounds of your baby’s heartbeat through a doplar or ultrasound. In between you’ll take on everything from your finances to your finicky appetite as you adapt to the physical and mental changes of pregnancy. So rest up—your body is working hard right now to make your very own Baby in the Bluegrass.
